Taverna Achilles in Ostseebad Damp

Despite a previous call and asking if a table was free, the staff was overwhelmed. Not only we were forgotten to serve but also other guests. Unfortunately there are no vegetarian dishes. When I asked, I wasn't offered any. I then put something together myself, which unfortunately came out of the kitchen incorrectly. But you didn't want to exchange it either.

Nice staff, orders are very quick and great food.

The food was great and, above all, a lot .. Typically Greek 😊😊. I can only recommend the taverna.

The food tastes really good, but instead of ordering currant spritzers you get grape juice and our children got the wrong food even though the boss personally took the order and repeated everything. We then received the information that the new order would then "take a very long time ....." Not possible with hungry children. Drinks were then booked on the bill, which we had not even ordered. Everything seemed a bit overwhelmed and little inclined to the customer. Don't have to go again.

Unfortunately, no corona regulations are observed in this restaurant. The boss only wears his mask over his forehead and there was no contact address form. For this deduct one point. However, it has to be said that the portions are very large, even the starters. The tzaziki had a good taste, but unfortunately the bread didn't come across to me as homemade or of good quality. It was very dry. The main courses were a very good portion size, the meat was tasty and the fries were crispy. The gratinated cheese on the meat and the metaxa sauce unfortunately had no taste. It became watery after standing for a long time. The staff is friendly, but a bit overwhelmed. Having only two waiters who do everything is a little bit less in the evening in my opinion. We weren't even finished with the starter (because it was a huge portion) and the main course arrived. At the end there was an ouzo on the house, which is very hospitable. The restaurant has earned 3 stars, but I deduct one point for not complying with the regulations.

😡😡😡😡😡The restaurant was very full, two of them served. A bread basket came with the starter, when I wanted to order some more bread, I had to ask several times. We got a second bread basket, which was probably cleared from another table, bread slices were opened. There was neither a question about a second round of drinks, nor whether everything was okay. When paying, the waiter calculated that on a block. I paid and looked again at the card, and realized that it was not true. I went to the waiter again and he showed me the amount on the pad. Not a single price matched the one on the menu. He gave me my money back without hesitation. No excuse, nothing. In retrospect it turned out that the waiter, the boss was personally, and is always on the service. So a boss who doesn't know his own prices? Unthinkable...! He's already written down wrong prices, which if you do the math, that's true. Who will look at the menu again later ??? This is NOT how you deal with GUESTS Clearly the THIRD RIP-OFF .... Watch out, get INVOICE ..... NEVER AGAIN....

The food was good as expected for the price / performance ratio. Unfortunately, the current hygiene rules have only been poorly implemented. The staff did not wear a mask at all and served the whole place without coordination. The guests also did not pay attention to whether a mask was worn to the table or not.

Reg. We pre-ordered Corona a table. We were there with 4 people. The restaurant was well attended. The waiter was friendly. The menu on the website needs to be adjusted some dishes have been removed from the menu ... The food was plentiful and good. Small devaluation in quality may be because you are used to it differently The portion for the children were adjusted quite well. We are happy to come back again.

My expectations from the restaurant were exceeded. I just do not know any better Greek restaurant. On good luck as a guest from Bavaria, I decided for this visit, and that was a direct hit. It was really all right: the atmosphere was great, stylish and well maintained, even the toilets; the staff very accommodating and humorous; the lamb plate was really tasty, the meat on my tongue, just like the antipasti; the prices are also completely ok! I would definitely recommend this restaurant! Johann, sorry, with the second visit did not work, I'll be back next time!))
